Doubles Dear!

Anyone for tennis, it’s summer, might as well get some exercise, doubles dear, cheaper than the gym, and you are likely to see others, whoever you meet. Stretch the muscles, touch the feet, warm up, it’s not exactly Wimbledon, but you know friends who’ve been there, you promise yourself you’ll visit one year, just to tell the others, that you were there, where ever there is. So many people wear an exterior that bore no relationship to the real self, ask any good homicide detective, the number of psycho’s out there. They can literally smell your fear, cause they have felt it themselves. Like demons, they get to know your habits, can dialogue with you, your hobbies, and the stuff of general interest, in a nutshell, they are living double lives, waiting for opportunity to appear.

The flow of Spirit was an area of intense interest to Solomon, how it is interfered with, the gimmicks used by those of bad intent, hoping to drown or destroy it, in the souls that still had it, those who failed to give up. It was easy to fall in with the power of the day, tell yourself, there was nothing you can do, almost as if you are drowning, just accept it, don’t even try to prevent it. Across the world, there were those vested with Great Spirit, who dealt with the toing and froing of life, the good news and the bad, the opinions of friends, the veritable suitcase of truths, which ones do you choose or believe, or do you pretend. Soaking it up and forgetting it a few minutes later, sounded like good advice, there was no point giving room to gibberish inside yourself, unless it was a comedy you were watching.

He was talking with an old friend, Solomon, that is, be amazed with what Heart Love can do, it brings out the light, it’s that simple. The affirmation arrives again, and again, signs from the heavens, the world is changing, it’s time to be yourselves, the real you, not the doubles partner you pretend to be, amen.

The Dark inside

Bitten by a dog, the child is young, develops a phobia, doctor calls it normal, given the experience. Everyone agrees, who could recover from such an experience, a young man, full of spirit and intense with his ideals, wants to see the best in everything, wants to see evil punished, believes in his country, well, someone better will come along. You are now a marine sir, is soon sent to Vietnam, returns shell shocked, addicted, life is never to same, the expert says so, everyone agrees, who could recover from such an experience. Others call it a disability, a situation you can’t deal with, but a situation others can handle, so you are different, based on your experiences; are we agreed, yes we are!.

25% of the world, addicted in some form, the numbers are actually higher in truth, so many of us are good at disguise, he is busy all the time, she is a career girl, busy. Turn on the TV, listen to the radio, what is your profile, what time of day, advertise laxatives to the elderly, advertise underwear to the young, one group interested in being able to live with a little dignity, the others group interested in personal appearances; the dark inside, getting the balance right.

Solomon heard of fishing, it had been going on a long time.

The Fisher King

There is no point in printing this, it’s too moral, there isn’t an audience for this stuff Steve, nobody cares when God, (he makes the sign, comma’s with his fingers) nobody cares if God arrives next week, to tell you the truth, they are more interested in what gets there Jim bobs going, or how to pay for the next trip to fantasy island, sorry, but that’s the truth. There are niche people, i’d call them weirdo’s, but i don’t want to offend you. There are other books on the table, “forty whips” and “bleed till you drain”, graphic violence titles, the agent gestures, palm open style, weary Steve gets the point, if there is  no hard core in the story no one wants to read them. It’s the sad fact he reflects upon as he walks the pavement, his first visit with the agency the last as far as he see’s it. In the world that has no place for God, anything goes, it’s a cruel world and Steve has to accept it.

Solomon watched the fisher man, he wasn’t casting uselessly, he was waiting till the time was right before he cast. It began with a few fishermen, change their tactics, a long time ago, fishers of men they became, did anyone understand what it really meant, or was it as simple as the influence we have on other lives. there was so much complications added for so many years, over a thousand years in fact, to a message that was simple, together as One we are strong. In a world of individuals, where was

yourself, fill in the blanks sighed Solomon. Don’t give up Steve, times are seriously changing, amen.

The Voice

Her ears shifted up, it was the voice, there was a rhyme in her heart, it wasn’t that she listened to pure rhythm, it was the way her heart reacted, there was an ease in her stride, even if she walked in the dark, she couldn’t see, so she learned to feel emotionally, the senses. Her eyes had never been cast upon envy as the eyes do normally see, they did not see the love that was on parade, it wasn’t that she wasn’t feeling inside, it was the way she expressed herself, the gentle sigh, the call of a bird in the trees, love is never threatening, just brings along a case of sensuous anxiety sometimes, so it was to the voice she was tuned, it was how she dealt with the difficulty of sight, having eyes and being unable to see, being blind while being able to see.

Solomon was remarking on the reaction of a fried, the widening smile, and how easy it was to ad a little sparkle to any life, how the lack of threat was freedom to many, just being able to be oneself, true. There are words we want to put on situations, sometimes we can’t find them, our emotional baggage is too heavy, other times we are afraid to utter them, afraid of the reaction and how it could change something. In the cafe he heard her voice, it wasn’t the conversation, it was the way she blended her smile and words with that voice, amen. It was music for the heart, that voice.

Abraham’s Journey

So it all began, a trek through the desert, he led his flock, in awe of God, his people were fed, his flock thrived, was tested by God, four thousand years later, he is still recalled, a man who outlived everyone, was faithful. What would he make of those, who murdered innocent children, what would he think of their faith, questions he would answer too easily, amen.

It had happened many times, in so many places, the blood of the innocent fell. The grief in the heart of so many, what is it all about, what encourages such evil, imagine it, no faith of God ever encourages violence, the very opposite in fact, forgive them taught Jesus, and put them to shame, their deeds will catch up with them, while my people will have eternal life.

whatever the faith, whatever the starting point, some wisdom’s were unimpeachable, and the simple truth of it was impossible to knock, when you learn to forgive you take the energy out of the evil impulse. Solomon was learning, one thing was certain, evil needed us to get angry and to hate in order for it to live. Abraham kneels to offer his child, amen.

In earning the trust of God Most High, he crossed the bridge, amen.

Where’s The Bread

Solomon wondered what the ancient scriptures meant, spent time working them out, after all, many conflicts were started over the misinterpretation of same, and any light on the situation might help the problem from not repeating. Organised religion was too worried about organisation and regulation to give it serious thought, not surprising, their differences seemed to get wider, while they all offered praise to God Most High. You fed me, you gave me shelter, you healed my thirst, you were there for me, basically, you were a friend, amen. was it that simple. How many careers were made by those pretending to be devout, how many politicians found their power from it’s clout. How many chose the side they thought would win, where’s the bread you mean, amen.
