Me Too Me Too….

I want some, me too, me too, the child reaches for a piece of cake, mammy slaps his hand, me too says the mother, isn’t that incorrect, mother turns her head, her daughter in the corner, you want some too, no, her daughter says, it’s not good for the diet either, mother shakes her head, me too. Headline in the paper, me too, another victim cries out, well, who hasn’t suffered in this life. The list of performers, so many suffer, loss of a child, those that hurt pour that hurt into their art. Meanwhile, they all forget the fifty million who died in the second war, no lawyer to represent them, no cause to shout for them, few celebrities among them. Me too, I’m hungry, just about a billion of those about, hungry that is, me too, no lawyer to represent them, me too, amen.

If you want to change things, me too, amen.

Why Me Lord…..

The question, the tragedy, the answers, no one can provide them, why me Lord, about to face death, bodies on bodies, children, men, women, stacked in heaps, she looks at the human misery, she is about to join them, has prayed all her life, a shot rings out, will someone pass the ketchup please, she falls, lies among the dead. her Spirit leaves her body, joins the world of eternity.  Years later, those trying to undermine Love, damage trust, trying to create the desire for only earthly things, thereby undermining the well being of Spirit and our connection with the world above, speak out in protest, why her Lord.

God sighs, I’m not an arms manufacturer, free will was your gift, it wasn’t forced on you, I sent along prophets, to remind you, there is light and dark, even child birth is painful. The critic replies, but why so many, how was it allowed to happen. Experience, is the father and mother of wisdom, when it hurts we remember, when it’s pure pleasure we want it more, it’s not black and white, and everyone living is playing a vital role. You want to enter Heaven, nice words, but it requires an effort, and that’s what your life is all about, making it there.

The critic shakes his head, damn good answer, how about the movements for change, why so many of them, why such chaos out there, God shakes his head, a critic, what else would you expect. The talk as if they know, when all they do is study something small, and try to apply it, how often has that error been made. I made you stubborn for a reason, and if you read the old scriptures, you will work it out. You think this world is a free ride, nice idea son, just remember, one day you will all have to hand it back. Amen.

Christmas Magic

Stop complaining, presents, unnecessary wrapping, garbage, the usual junk you hear, for a few weeks there is a kinder nature, less greedy, inclined to care, emotional too, the hopes of a child, a parents glee, a couples first Christmas together, lights in dark places, joy in the hearts of some, it’s Christmas magic, sponsored by a great event, that has stood the test of time, so some of us get the dates wrong, for once, wouldn’t it be nice if we got it right just once.

Solomon sighed, we need more to cheer about, Christmas was badly needed, amen.

Light Energy

She looks drawn, eyes droop, her arms hang, weighed down with bags, but there is a twinkle in her eye, there is a surprise inside, a heavy heart will get a lift, the darkness will vanish, someone thought of me, that’s all it will take, someone remembers me. No longer alone, why, the hurtful memories will disappear, while the light energy engineers, brings to the surface, the sweetest of thoughts, the feelings that the darkness makes disappear.

Our reason for being, why do we exist, Solomon asked this question many times; it seemed so easy to put it words; to bring lightness to being, light energy. What weighs you down; the bills come to mind, the shape, the weighing scales, every time we measure, we end up at the extremes, comparing, well, that didn’t cost much, you have to get something better, is that all they could afford, meanies you imply, how bad do we need light energy, seriously.
