Insight to the Corona Virus

Preparing for a journey, bags packed, you are heading down the stairs, you better hurry Jack, he misses a step, lands on the ground floor, full of energy, the energy that lifts, no need to worry, this is a time to relax, everyone light in mind, the usual worries abandoned, less anxiety better health.

She checks the window, peers into the street, has a habit of worrying. Getting older, the streets are not so safe, she watches the news, the nightly reports of crime, ensures she lives in a well guarded house, three locks on the front door, double bolts at the rear, she’d feel safer in an apartment block, with no back door.

Restriction in movement, the normal path is not safe, he takes the long way round, avoids the road block. Getting to the appointment is not easy, there is a border to cross, and it’s busy everyday, as the local inhabitants who live on the Palestinian side are made wait, he gets to his appointment on time, because he knows how to escape the patrols.

Market trader sits in his office, numb, his futures market has been wiped out and no one is keen to trade, after loosing his capital he has no place to move, the house mortgaged, who could predict the 1929 crash, and then the aftermath, while those with the means, exploited the weakness in the market and the loss of so much paper credit.

The world is running out of control, the fish are gasping for breath, the animals are moving from the forest, clean water is getting rarer by the day, children are unable to keep up their stress levels, there is a rise in depression everywhere, they need to slow down. A voice calls from the wilderness, listen to the words of the prophets it says.

The Gasping Fish

Johnny trout is gasping, he is finding it hard to breath, another ton of garbage slides off the trawler, big chunk of toxic waste, boy the neighborhood has changed. Yo bro, his cousin calls him over, what is wrong with you, i can’t breath, his cousin sighs, when did you notice it, it has been going this way for years, light weight, what a cod!

Solomon encountered the Holy Spirit, remind them Dear Father, they have to do a clean up, and the children are over stressed to, they can’t cope and they hide their ways, the others, wonder if they get away with it, remind them Please, before they turn the oceans to waste.  Solomon sighed, that will get their minds moving, his prayers being heard that’s all, the day of the excuse was finally over.

Plastic Times

There is a lot of anxiety, it’s been piling up for some time, it’s called plastic, the man made creation that nature can’t breakdown, and in a disposable world it’s everywhere. Plastic, the answer to so many problems, in the beginning, now it’s choking the life out of nature, plastic. Now we have to guard against it, the misuse of it. In the beginning it seems the answer, clean, and it resulted in many ways from the lobby of the chemical industry, and the ban put on other stuff.

We are sending them to battle sir!, the colonel is having a chat with the commander in chief, and the chief scientist of the army. In previous wars they used pills to keep the soldiers awake, now they need a pill that will make them stay awake and fight. Concoctions are tried out, some work, some too aggressive, tested on prisoners, the need to get it right is essential to the war effort. So is the availability of rest and recuperation places, when the men are on leave. hey, they need to unload General, otherwise they might not want to fight anymore.

What are you doing that for, asks a young soldier, watching two buddies chase the dragon. Go on try it, it will clean you mentally and you’ll sleep like a baby. By the end of the sixties the beginning of the drug epidemic the world now enjoys seriously started. Meanwhile, places in the far east become famous for the exploitation of women and children, all on account of a war started by default, Vietnam, against an enemy they didn’t need to fight. The legacy of war, and the blood on the hands of those who made those horrific choices. (Solomon encountered divine interventions)

The bomber leaves the base, the big bomb is on board, the first bomb caused total devastation, but they are going to do it again, just to be sure the message is received.

Only human beings are capable of devising ways to destroy themselves, and the world. Fortunately, The Heavenly Father has plans for those who would dare destroy his beautiful creation. Solomon encountered the Holy Spirit, had encountered those determined to damage the Spirit. Let the schemes of the deceivers and extremists implode on themselves, and cause no harm to your people he prayed. With a single thought they could be turned into soup mentally and rendered babbling fools. If the last five years were anything to go by, there was a lot of happiness to look forward too, if only they sort the plastic out, amen, smile.

Tony Soprano and the Jury

That’s not how it works, it’s different, the men are arranged around a table, it’s judgement day and the news is not as expected, a twit found the funding and made a movie about the commencement of the Vietnam war, it’s released the same day as the  men with canes and worn walks have to attend a special hearing of the heavenly commission, the life they lived is being weighed up. On account of the authority they yielded, they are seen as high value persons.

Everyone is treated the same, whether your a made man or not!,  Tony adds with a half smile, and points at each one of them; you all had a hand in this man made mess, so what do you have to say for yourselves. An old man opens his mouth when his dentures fall out, his jaw continues shaking as he tries to put the dentures back in. The old geezer sitting next to him says “why don’t you try super glue, that way they’ll never fall out!”

This is serious says big Tony, there is only so much; a room load outside awaits the decision, the minions of these once powerful men.

So what have you to say about yourselves?

Old Alfred turns to George, “I told you we should never have got rid of Kennedy!”

What’s Kennedy got to do with this asks Tony, who is the Heavenly district attorney, he senses an even bigger scalp.

“Kennedy, a peace loving Irish dumb ass, what does he know about business except for his Father who bought it for him!”

The Soul Train

You mean all that stuff is true he asked, the soul train is a connection of working souls, joined together in common purpose, they accept the wisdom of God smiled the old man. The young boy looked at the old man, haggard and worn, the night was cold and the dark was closing in. On his way back from the store, he encountered this lively man with the light eyes. The boy stopped, the old man was seated on a bench, was shivering from the conditions, another long night and the hope of tomorrow, a maybe.

Where you going to stay for the night he asked? The old man smiled, i’ll find a place, on the soul train replied the boy. They made their way down the street, there was a shed out the back of the house, neat and free from the chill, it won’t matter spoke the boy, who told the old man it was going to be fine, he might even be getting a bowl of soup. A blanket, a pillow, a space for the night, the soul train continued that evening, in the heart of the boy that cared. When did you meet me Lord, it was the question that would be on the lips of everyone who asked him

, amen.

Celebration of War

The war is over the story has changed another item on the news

What was it for he wonders sitting alone his life crippled and blue

He remembers the hysteria the patriotic call and all their cheers

Go buddy we are all behind you we’ll support you in all you do

That was a long day but it’s forgotten now and world has moved on

He taps his fingers they play out a tune only part of him that moves

The day they declared war day his life ended and his innocence too

War stories we watch on TV the celebration of death renewed again

But he’s not alone the hospital is full of victims and his friends

In the fields of war there are memories in his head he can’t loose

He still sees the faces the adrenalin still pumps memory is cruel

The legacy of war burnt inside him the example we pass children

War the destruction of love and in the end changes nothing at all.

The celebration of war, prefer to remember the good that we do, amen.
