No smirk, no sneer, No thief

The company of the Holy Spirit, no threat, no anxiety, no need for oneupmanship, no need to bully, no need to drown the voice, no need to lord over, no need for malice, peace, patience, calm, compassion, empathy, qualities you’d come to expect, from those who believe in the eternal God, nothing complex, no ego as such.

Solomon sighed, the energy of Love, was continually lifting, it never left you feeling drained, heavy hearted or down. In times of crisis, as these times are, a lot of testing of the Spirit, is it the real one, that you have inside, or the man made version full of empty pride.

Jesus taught using stories, so as to allow as many as possible to listen, as he didn’t want anyone to be cut off from his healing words. Knowing the character of man, he saw ahead, how there would be times, when there would be those who misled the people, so he used stories to circumvent them all, it’s really simple sighed Solomon, once you listen.

Where Did the Spirit Go…???

There is no booze in the cabinet, the shops are closed, the head aches, and I need a re fill. Honey he shouts, where did the Spirits go. She never listens, she is fumbling with the dirty dishes in the kitchen, they never listen, she has a thousand things to do. Being a Mother, her work is never over, her mind is always immersed, like her hands that moment in the soapy water. She continues to work away, the radio hums a tune she knows well, it’s an old one, was it the first time or was it the second time, she is trying to link the tune to the birth of her children, they are in their twenties now, anyway, it puts a smile on her face.

Where did the Spirits go, she hears his footsteps coming near. She hid the booze after he drowned the first bottle so easily. Some brain cells are better than none. Where did the Spirit go.  Every mother knows, she only has to look at her child to see if baby is okay, doesn’t need to interrogate or question, real love does that naturally. The leaves begin to droop, the tree is ill, the birds disappear, the environment is not that well.

Solomon asked himself the question regularly, where did the Spirit go, the one that came from Heaven. After Christmas, the work begins, after the marriage, the real love begins. It’s a climb, till you find the plateau. Reading old scripture, the words of Jesus, the words of all the Prophets,, it’s always pointed, towards, the well being of Spirit, not the control of those, under the guidance of those, of the organisations, that enacted so many rules, they almost drowned the Spirit, but not quite…..

Well, what are we without the Spirit, usually very poorly.

Be Mindful

How is listening to you, perhaps your grand parents are watching you now, wondering if you have learned anything, hoping you don’t repeat their mistakes. Imagine it, those that you thought were gone,. watching you in silence, their Spirits wondering, perhaps hoping you turn to good ways, and actually help them, as the old prophets said, praying for the dead is worth doing. As God is the God of the living, it’s wisdom to remind yourself who is watching you. No need to blush, everything has been seen, even when you pick your nose, it’s clear cut. We all use the bathroom!.

Solomon was reading about the education on intimate relationships, and how those teaching it, had reduced it to a biological test, so the young students say, with no input as to the emotional issues, and what they, how, how you react etc. With society focused on getting everyone into the bed; well, it’s everywhere you look, it’s no surprise those who are young, find it confusing, how their hormones are dealt with. Jesus focused on compassion, he didn’t want to hear about your bed room details, our imaginations do that for us. So there are some who are outraged by the behavior of certain folks, but that’s ignoring the real issue; how come we create a society that is so focused on the lower regions, it’s not that the need to get together is ever going to disappear, unless of course, we turn ourselves into machines, that perform according to a script, well?

Jesus encouraged help and healing, not revenge and getting even.

Edit Your Head

What do you mean, well, they say behind your back what they are afraid to say to your face, Solomon was reminding himself of the power of Jesus’s and I mean power, his words came with authority, they were not a wish, or stuff you want to happen, they came with the power of His God, the Creator of the universe. Jesus wanted harmony, well being, respect, forgiveness, charity and compassion, well, how else could you enjoy the Father, and the great gift you have been given.

When Pharisee’s annoyed him or were talking about him behind his back, he just reminded them. Say what you like about me, Insult the Holy Spirit, well, that’s the line you can not cross, ever. With it being Christmas, the season for all that is good, well, it’s celebrated for many reasons, but for believers, enhancing the reputation of the Father, is tops. Being a Child of the divine, you have to make the effort, you are called to eternal life after all.

With the blurb flying everywhere, buy this, that, be kind, and the other stuff, what are you going to give me, there was a lot in the heads, along with the mad news from the political world, who could imagine what was going on. So Donald has brought all the dirty laundry to dry cleaners, and there is so much of it, it would remind you of the oceans full of plastic, it’s everywhere. Time to edit the head, without a clean environment, there is no life.

Excellence Reporter: Rinpoche, what is the meaning of life? Or the purpose of life if you will? Khensur Rinpoche: Most all of us fall into the trap of believing, at one point or another, that amassing wealth, fame, power, friendships, and even happiness itself is the purpose of life. Of course, these things can, and […]

Too Devout For Me….

It’s not easy, and eternity is a real destiny, the words of old and the habits of some, they are too devout, do you see the way they pray, we’d never go that far, then the heart twinkles, and you get a reminder of heaven, there are healings, the sky, the patterns in the sky, even the numbers. reminders, there is Heaven, and these are reminders that’s all.

Solomon watched as some built walls and the others who built bridges, one view was entrenched, the other wanted to encourage and is divine, way some folks are more inclined towards love than others. As for security, what is more secure than a real world love that never fails. Solomon had prayers answered, encountered the angels, there was nothing to prove, Heaven is real, I hope that isn’t too devout for you.

Did they ever imagine it; those leading the way, encouraged daily, with the prayers they uttered every day, thoughts of heart felt wellness, were

lighting the path. Ironic sighed Solomon; One side was critical of the others, each fault finding, that’s too much some would say, the habits or the practices. Perhaps, all those disagreements were ways to get people to notice each other, same way a rebellious child causes a nuisance, amen.

Romeo and the Rules

Love lost and found, Milton, the bard of Avon, the dangerous journeys, the stories written into our histories, the impossible victories, the great rescues, Samson, and his last act, David over coming the odds, there is much to remind us of the highs and lows we face everyday, and so much encouragement, did they really do that.

A mother sets out with a boat load of strangers, a flimsy craft that would not qualify for insurance, the worries she feels by passed by the freedom she hopes to find. West side story, he is not good enough, she comes from a broken home, the strange ways we are instructed in wisdom. Then the faith barriers, the rules of the organisation, how we prepare for prayer, what we eat, who we see, how we engage with others, will he change his religion, it used to be a catholic protestant thing, how will they raise the children, the Indian girl who falls in love with the boy from the wrong caste, the oaths that are taken to satisfy religious practice.

There are so many barriers to love, arrangements we have to follow, until the word expands, and understanding of the meaning of love explodes, when there is finally change. So many rules, lessons, when love does not own anything at all, yet the plans we make to control it, something we don’t even own or can ever own.

Solomon had friends from many faiths, and the faith never got in the way,  not in his mind; as he said to a fellow believer; we don’t do it all the same, same as the flowers in the garden, but at our core, we have the same engine, there is one God, and love feels the same, it’s the barriers we put in the way that defines us. Romeo didn’t follow the rules.
