The Horse Trainer

He walks around the paddock, his head raised high, his eyes pointing, his head recalling, the posture of the filly, is she walking all right, he doesn’t want to alarm the animal, he appears not to notice, it has to be natural, throws a a sly look, was that a limp, maybe she has a back problem, watching, how we carry ourselves. Wake up Sean, you are doing it again, what he says, his attention back in the moment. What Dear he says. She has a snarl in her eye, I saw you looking at her. They are outside a restaurant. You never gave me that attention, the thought she keeps inside her. She is getting older, not that she is old. WE all love to be noticed, when we are in the prime of our lives. We all want to be noticed, we want to be of interest in the street.

She leaves her house, her trolley before her, she can’t carry weight on her shoulders, her blonde tresses are turning to grey, her walk is not as smart, age, tiredness, a lot of emotional stuff inside. She lights up when she catches the eye of a passer by, they used to gaze at her, when she was young, memories.

Solomon sighed, how we look at each other. There were many well dressed young women and men, strutting themselves. How would a horse trainer

size them up. He heard the words before, hips do this, legs do that, it wasn’t sexual as the moral brigade tried to impress on us, it was just our nature, we all watch, and wonder, life is a gift. Beepers, imagine what it’s like, you are a race horse, you know you have the ability, in the right hands, the potential will show, patience required. How talent flourishes in the right hands. Jesus only had to wish it sometimes and people recovered, sometimes it was touch. Look in the eyes, are you well, doesn’t every mother know that, and they all didn’t have PhD’s in psychology.

Those who fed fear into the world, he hoped they had celestial insurance, amen.

New Light

The eyes glow, there is movement inside, there is wonder, there is hope, there is light. The power of words in the heart, the nuggets we hang to, same as the story of Christmas, the signs, the wonder in the young eyes, there is a sense of meaning, something new, the evenings maybe dark but there is light ahead. Two thousand years ago, men in long robes, riding the desert horse, they follow the star, they know something great is about to happen. What did they see, what was it that took them on such a journey, why did they follow the light in the Sky, how could they have known.

2,000 years later, the same wonder in dressed in silly rules and regulations, that more often than not, throttle the hearts of so many, on account of the disastrous wars fought, over “Love”.

Solomon sighed, the evening was a vision of light, he saw the wonder of talent nurtured, the fearlessness of the shy spirit, the hope that gives us all, only God can explain. Solomon hoped, that those who were in the role of Spiritual guides, would learn the lessons of old, and stop putting unnecessary burdens on their flocks. Compassion, gentleness, kindness, for these are the type of sacrifices that I want, not the sacrifice of old, amen.

The Same One he said…really..

I should be here, he is awkward, there are lights on the tree, the air is filled with joy, it’s made for children, the wonder and the surprise, Ahmed is surprised, they celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus, the same Jesus we pray to, why aren’t we having a celebration like this. His friend TJ is showing him his home, their parents are away, normally they would not be allowed to do this, the adults not allowing it, but since they are children, they don’t have any of this bias.

Solomon sighed, how barriers are so easily created, when a little wisdom could short change this negative approach easily. Children enjoying the promise of Joy, families and friends being a little more thoughtful, people more together than usual, the world a little warmer in some hearts. Jesus, it’s the same one, for all of us ,why allow a little dogma separate you from joy.  The rules we create that divide us and the walls we build around us.

Stuff we need to get right, amen.

Unwinding The Story

Tension, the coach was writing the word on the blackboard, underlined it, three times, Tension he said again, the class all look up, the teacher is explaining the depths of story, and trying to sound like an expert. Who does get it, tension, the ups and downs, the circle of life. The want to be authors want to change their lives, their teachers wants to publish one best seller, tension, the rent check is due and there isn’t enough in the bank to cover it, tension, a half a per cent movement in the share price will cost us another fifty million, if only I could reach that far she says to herself, sitting in her assist chair, her arms not working from the shoulders down, to be able to reach an itch, tension, waiting for someone to come in the door, waiting for the surgery door to open, waiting for the man to return the form without more corrections, tension.

Tension, Solomon wondered what it would feel like to have some of your functions returned to you, by Gift of God, would there be tension in the body

, what would the stages be like, would it be the caterpillar unwinding, the egg shell breaking up, the head peering out, what would it feel like, would it be instant, instant, would your muscles need time to lengthen, you’d be stiff, the strength in your shoulders would need building up. He had in his mind some prayers being said, and many millions calling out, come help us Dear Father, and then imagining the response, what load fills the net, who benefits. So many take credit for stuff they have nothing to do with, and then try to persuade others to follow them. Solomon sighed, One God, the credit starts and ends there, no intermediaries, only those with good opinion who are heard. In a nutshell, those who go before us, lay the paving stones, lets hope they are well directed in the times ahead. The tension will always be there, exercise if your worried, amen.

Make Time For me

She sits at the table, the kitchen is one of those designer types, every gadget you can imagine, she nurses the glass of wine, she frowns, how he used to have all the time in the world for me, now she is lucky if he is home before ten, what an existence, waiting. Is this what they base success on, setting aside all those habits that brought you together for a dream somewhere else, we used to be so happy. How many make time for true love to grow, busy work habits, eating on the go, hurry, turning the head, did you see that, always in a hurry and making promises that you will never keep. It must be so much worse for a small child, wondering if they will see their father at all, the human well that has to fill, the start of love. Solomon sighed, he had a powerful dream, three men and a child, a boy that was healed, they came a long way, their faith was real, the prayer was answered, it wasn’t mere words.

In the busy world, the rush, it’s the same as faith, it gets pressurized, it begins to crack. He was reflecting on the past, a long time past, well, thirty years is a life time for some, but the stress that began to happen as life began to explode in all directions, the need to multitask, trying to cover up for families that were dividing, the population explosion, the need for small single parent homes, a conundrum, and the inevitable pressure on time for Spiritual growth, guru’s taking over the class room, the Teaching of Jesus, ignored, weather patterns that were verging on the hysterical, it was rush, and in the end, it was as if the world forgot where it came from.

You have to go back sometimes to see where you went wrong. It was written 2,000 years ago, God lives inside you, same as having part of your life dedicated to an interest, that is eternal, the guide that gives you the nod, whether it is real or good, and as the bad decisions pile up, the space becomes unimportant, the excuses that you use and start building, the affirmation as the news is bad, as if it was part of your decision making process, another reason to thrash what you once believed, like angry lovers who want to make excuses to dislike themselves further.

The Queen Bee

Jimmy Bee is on the trial, buzzing from flower to flower, shaking his rear, grabbing the pollen, filling up with Nectar, in order to provide sustenance for the Hive and all his colleagues, all their efforts aimed at keeping the Queen. Is there a human equivalent, are we too focused, do we all want to be self made, does our communities matter, are we too localized, do we need to expand our area of operations, imagine Jimmy Bee, flowers not so plentiful, has to extend the range of his travels, has less to bring home, and is slowly getting worn out, what are the prospects for the Hive and all who depend on it.

Spirit is like that sack Jimmy brings home to the Hive, the flowers are less plentiful, the air quality weakening, stress on all systems. The pollinator in trouble spells trouble for all, same with Spirit. The spin of the big voices are great, but as Jesus says, the follow up is not as clear cut. Are we going to pretend times are good when they need to change, just saying. In real time Solomon encountered the Spirit, it is something worth remembering, as the inner Spirit is renewed, interventions occur from the world divine. Imagine, how easy it is, to increase the Spirit, and how well you feel afterwards.

Can we make money out of this, the financial guru is shouting at the young broker, you have the scene and the movie. The broker turns rogue and sells out his friends. When we don’t put effort into Spiritual loving

growth, how can we pray with a full heart to a God that knows everything. If we don’t mind the bees, how can we expect to survive, another off the cuff remark, Einstein was good at that, mind the bees, amen.
