Old Hungry Tired

He looks at the weary old dog, she served him well, was a companion for many years, and always a friend, watched over the children, was wary of strangers, and wasn’t afriad to growl when necessary. attentive, she is old now, her limbs are not the same, as you get old they wear out, limps mostly, but he has an extra cushion for her near the fire, she will live out her days with honour and care.

Solomom sighed, so many old and lonely, men and women, out of the spotlight, out of mind, same as those news stories, once the channel changes, quickly forgotten. The leaders of the world, had they a conscience, they will complain when their dinner is cold, send back the slightly over cooked beef, make a big show of whose boss, while leaving so many elderly, many whose pensions were stolen by their friends, to their own fate. 25 trillion off shore, there has to be a remedy for this.

Solomon encountered the “Spirit”, the heavenly help, had the words, was told to write.  So many old hungry and tired, so many economies stolen from, while the off shore havens, bag the cash, the diva’s worry about their make up, the voices sound off about all that is wrong, speak of their love for Jesus, well, it was time to show it, amen.

Solomon recalled scripture, when did you know me Jesus said,

“when you took care of those less forunate than yourselves, those in need, when you were compassionate, that is when I Know who you are….”

Great Music lifts the Soul….

We need moments to refresh, put down the worries, reflect, it’s not a diagnosis, it’s like cleaning the desk at work, or the bathroom at home, there is stuff we need to do. With so much happening in the world, the mind becomes overloaded, and if we don’t give it a break, we can overreact, becoming ultra sensitive, till eventually we are programmed in our responses. We join causes without thinking deeply about what we are getting involved in, in a nutshell, we become pawns in other life dramas. It’s the new year, time for starting the new, it could be a change of relationship, it could be the end of one, the beginning of something new.

Being human, we are sensitive, even if many pretend otherwise. you put on a few pounds, a crisis, the pants it tighter, the thing is, after the season of Christmas, we are all in a tighter squeeze, well, it could be any festival time, but human beings tend to worry easily. In an effort to relax the mind at crucial times, apart from trying the booze, that is meant to be a joke actually, but the music of all types allows you time to get out of the worry zone. So I am throwing in a few middle of the road classics, that will just do that. In times of great stress, you are easily upset or worried. The sheep only have to smell the wolf to get the panic attack, and there are many other there, who know how to exploit your feelings. Listening to music helps you set the mind, like poetry, it lets you forget the world, you forget fashion, you forget social media worries, you forget your mobile phone.  Start your day with great music, and be surprised, amen.

When you can bypass the mind, you can access the heart. happy new year!.

The Source

The wrinkles, deep and old, taken awhile to acquire them, the signs of character, why try to get rid of them, nothing wrong in showing who you are. Solomon was talking with a friend, the timing was good, the sun was out, and the two of them were re calling, older times. To the outside world it didn’t seem much, there was nothing you could take away, you had to experience it, they were talking about the source, where it all came from.

It’s like a river, they just don’t appear out of nowhere, Solomon nodded, he is a student, listening. The finished product was what most were interested in his friend said, while the journey was what made it what it was.

Solomon imagined a giant river, it could be the Ganges, the amazon. When you think of them, you see a mass of water, flowing strong, deep and constant. How they start, it was the same as an oak tree, a single acorn grows, as for the big river, it begins with the trickle of a stream, after many threads join together, it becomes a big river. Jesus said much the same, all of us are Spirits, we need to create the space inside by simply following the Father’s teaching, no big deal.

In the space of an hour, Solomon and his pal solved a few mysteries, not by trying to be smart, but by listening in a non judge mental way. Could anyone learn this his friend said, Solomon nodded, it’s like the big river, you have to understand how it got so big; it was nothing to notice at the start, just follow the treads.

The weaver sits at the loom, strings of wool, different colors, it requires patience, his fingers are practiced, his foot works the pedal rhythm that turns the loom, he feeds in the different treads, mixes the colors, after awhile a pattern emerges, after that a colorful garment. Life is just like that, lots of strings connected, a few failures to begin with, a practice time, experiences, and finally, a life lived. Imagine it, that big river was no more that a drip when it began, and look what it is now, amen.
