The Sheep panic…

The great threat arrives, the paid men run, the shepherd soon realized, where was their trust, the parables of Jesus, replayed in real life, the ship is at sea, the winds are strong, where is your faith He Asked, didn’t you see the great wonders, how taxing it must have been, to have to remind them again and again, the Spirit of God is inside me, and it’s inside you too, you just have to create the space for it to thrive, a healthy mind, not one filled with jealousy and spite, that’s the demons daily diet, amen. You can’t serve God and Money, one will get the better of you, listen if you have ears.

Solomon read a story, the history of genetics, and the threat of virus’s, and how easy it is to manipulate such things, so simple it doesn’t even need a degree. The timing of the read, the advent of the corona virus, the vicious words used to instill fear in everyone. Don’t give up your faith, God is real, and his mercy is great, don’t panic ever, amen.

Reading from the holy books; Ezra in particular, there is so much in it that connects to these times, so Solomon read it aloud, to those listening in secret, in case they forget, there is God and there are words, that add up. As Jesus said later, it’s never too late to return to God, amen.

Inside Spirit

Mother comes in the door, Tracey  was out late the night before, dad is at work, and ma has a dinner to make. In the local department store, Ma got a bargain of a dress, something to impress her figure with. She is all smiles inside, feeling good, her Spirit is on the up, Tracey sneaks in the door, slides past Mum, hoping to be unnoticed, you says Mum, Tracey acts all innocent, Me she says, Mum gives her the eye, your not seeing that fellow again, Tracey waits for the interrogation to begin but there is none, the Spirit inside her Mum, is up, and no amount of small distractions is going to unhinge her. She is her daughters father, will do it her way anyway; sometimes you have to let go.

Years pass, Mum is old, Dad has moved on, now Tracey is looking after her mum; she remembers the compassion of her mother, how gentle she was with her, how she said her few words when necessary, and then let it go; it wasn’t a hammer she held every time there was a row, you don’t bring the wrongs of the past with you, you bring the lessons learned.

For over 2,000 years, a huge amount of Souls were trying to work out the meaning of Jesus, and instead of trying to learn the lesson, they spent most of their time trying to understand the man. We are divine, what does it mean, does it mean we carry baggage everywhere, loading ourselves with all that is wrong; that’s what the dark Spirit encourages. The Inside Spirit, the one you carry inside, is made up of life experiences, habits passed on, gifts from the Spirit, and what are we supposed to do about it you ask?, Solomon sighed, it’s the same as a car on a journey, you pass some one who needs a lift, but if you are already full, how can you help anyone. Space, love looks out, fear looks in, amen.

Finding Agreement

A bunch of muscle flab flesh and bones gather in a large room, seeking agreement, a matter of words, once they are slung in the right order, peace is not far away. Jesus, meets some low life’s, low according to the Pharisee’s, he cures them, raises the eyebrows of the high and mighty, there is disagreement, well there would be no disagreement if he agreed with the practices of old.

The flab opens the mouth, another flab speaks up, another flab frowns, another flab checks the phone, another flab complains. They all claim to be believers, they will attend services, they will get on their knee’s, they will instruct their children, they want them to believe. So why do so many find it hard getting agreement, why the discord.

The parable of forgiveness, how often it was repeated, how many times, how many blows must you sustain, how why, why forgive anyway.

One of the flab has issues; lost a father in a conflict, had a relation who died in the war, had the hurt of others passed on to him, he was a child. In the meeting flab is touchy when harmony is mentioned and agreement; all the past hurts rush to his mind, the old memories, the hurt; if only he could have forgiven, or if the hurt had not been passed on, if only….

Demons make hay while the human soul hangs onto hurt, amen.

Get Healed

The placebo affect, golly, you begin to feel better when you actually believe it, the Spirit, the initial push, the way opens, in those moments of searching, seeking a reason to believe, the aches, the anxiety you felt a minute before eases, same as the feeling you get when going to a big dinner, you look forward to the good food, forward looking, the point being, you are looking ahead.

Solomon encountered the addict, well, he encountered a few, and he was listening. The conversation was muted, addict was trying to direct the conversation, pointing at weakness’s he perceived that would distract Solomon, a tactic many use, deflecting. Solomon listened, this hurt, he saw how his companion was trying to control the situation, why would he want to do that, hiding from himself?

Feeling good, there is news of a cure, Solomon read the news, A rod was telling all the good news, he got the all clear. A believer, he thanked his faith for keeping him in the zone, he wanted to get well, had not given up. Solomon smiled, as soon as we realise that we are all bit players in a great movie, when we consider this, and apply it to our lives, we will see the value of our existence, no matter what angle we take. Don’t we all seek meaning in life, our purpose….

As said before, if you don’t believe, why are you doing it for!
