The Light Of Heaven….

To see the wonder of the light, the hearts open, Heaven smiles, the angels relax, everyone breathes a sigh of relief, the emotions rise in the Hearts, the oppressed are no longer afraid, on the contrary, those in positions of authority, know they are being held to account, they might try and control using money and fear, but they have no answer to the power of Heaven.

Solomon smiled, what was it like in those ancient times,

times, the Children of God, under oppression and fear, afraid of their rulers, those that used Fear menace and organisation to terrorize the hearts of the people, then they see the light, Our God has not deserted us, fear not.

It is the role of every life, to add to the well being of all, the words you offer, the look in your eye, not the measure of comparison, but the meaning of real compassion. Solomon often remarked to himself and to others; how those who voiced their opinions on the unfairness of the world, the great divide, the gap between those on the bottom, and those at the top, how unfair it is they protest, while building private kingdoms for themselves, who were they fooling. Solomon was reminding himself, the words Jesus spoke about the widow and the two bits she gave; she is still remembered, while those who boasted of themselves, forgotten as fast as the smoke from a cigarette in a gale force wind, non people, amen.

Envy

I want to be different, there is no one like me, there is nothing I can’t do, I have the money and I can choose, I want people to look and stare, I want them to understand, I can afford this, I want them to stare, that is a real rolex on my wrist, Envy, Yeah, I want you to drool at the excess.

A world that prides itself on the creation of Idols, does it not remind you, encouraging others to worship the material, with no sense of the Spirit, or the Spiritual needs. King Solomon, the prophets, and the warnings of Jesus; don’t encourage people to envy you, unless it’s your Faith in the Most High that you want to encourage in them. The papers, the boasts, the old men and their trophy wives, the medication they hide behind, the doctors injections that keep them alive, while all the time parading to the world, their so called acumen; well, if you work like me you can have this, all of it, was it not like the temptations that Jesus had to under go; choose life He said, Eternal Life, the material can’t come with you, so what is it that you envy. Who do you want to serve; your pride or God, amen.

Believers don’t need to worry …Remember Moses, Abraham…

Easy for you to say, the words that slip from the tongue, are you able to prove it, the first words on most minds, easy for you to say. He is poorly dressed, his shoes leak, his hair is a mess, and there is only the price of a coffee in his pocket, don’t worry he says. Solomon sighed, he saw the Spirit at work, saw the anxious turn to happiness, it was the flip of a switch, come to think about it, so did Moses, but Moses always gave credit to God, he never tried to claim credit himself. Many years later, Jesus repeats the words, all glory to the Father. Those who are jealous of power and envious wondered, how can he do this; their response; he has demons in him they said. Jesus hears their thoughts, understands them better than they could possibly imagine and warns them; Dudes, you can say what you like about me, but if you dare insult the Holy Spirit, you won’t just regret it. Moses returns from the Holy Mountain, got the assurance from the Most High God, is content, this is working out he says to himself, he weeps, his joy immense, to have the approval of the eternal God, mega. Then he he see’s them back to their old ways, worshiping what’s earthly and common, same as those who judge people so quickly; not ambitious enough, you must be unwell; a child decides to serve God, had a career in front of him, what a waste his friends say. Forty years later, they ask their unambitious pal to intercede for them before God; life has a habit of turning around rather quickly. So if you believe, why worry then.

To see the wonders of God, amazing.

Helen Keller Day

Happy Birthday Helen, it’s been awhile but the memory lives on, the deaf blind are not alone anymore, your name summons the help, it is how we can best remember her. They gather at the funeral, they have tears in their eyes, we will never forget you tears, then they forget you. Helen, you were a prophet, you changed the way many see disabilities, same way the earlier prophets aroused Interest in God, reminding them. We have gone astray, the light comes, then the memories return, we have another destiny, it’s greater than this world, Helen Keller, you remind us, thanks.

Lying in the bed, she is safe, the dark has no fear, she is on the same level, he holds her, she dreams, her troubles don’t exist when she is safe in his arms. Solomon sighed, that is what it is like, when in the presence of God, the presence of Love kills all fears. Then the day comes, and the reminders are there, what she would give to be safe in his arms. Solomon sighed, some names makes us feel good, Helen Keller does.

Emeute, Civilizations and Victor Hugo….

You can have petty arguments that blow up into full scale revolutions, the harm you think your putting an end to, only to realize later the bigger hole you have built for yourself, thereby the merry go round of harm spins faster, the eye for an eye mentality that so many hold so dear, ends up destroying happiness and causing even more harm everywhere, the very goal you had when your started your emeute, as Victor Hugo would say, an end to it. Retaliate, how we hear those words, we have to avenge ourselves, we have to get even, we will lose face, how many wars were started with that mindset, nations and tribes emotionalized to the point of frenzy, while the voices of reason were drowned out.

Solomon sighed, it was refreshing to hear the comparative remarks of Donald Trump, who decided not to avenge the so called hurt caused in the Arabian Gulf, be it a blip, be it a bonfire started by a child, two tribes didn’t go to war, and reason was used, when the expected response didn’t occur. Emeute, struggles that can be solved without blood shed, you just have to listen.

Solomon was reading the literary classic of Victor Hugo, pages of rhythm, written 150 years ago, explaining how the world had to learn from it’s past. Many years later, after so many social changes, the core of the book, still holds. Hugo, Thanks for making the effort, amen. Having encountered the Spirit, Solomon had his own reasons for listening; we are under the Holy Radar, what a great feeling, amen.

Finding Redemption

She sits at their kitchen table, has been speaking with their friends, her lawyer too, she has caught him cheating, she is waiting for him to come in the door, their santuary has melted before her eyes, the cocoon they built, was it all lies, I trusted him with my happiness, and now it’s all about to disintegrate. Her life is over, she is barely forty. The time I invested in him, worse, the other men she gave up for him, the career she set aside, maybe that is an excuse, another reason to hate him, we all strecth the truth, sanctimonious, who isn’t. How she liked fixing their meals, the list gets bigger. So many things she overlooked, the stuff she put up with, inside she tells herself she is perfect, well, he was the one who thrashed the relationship. There is the sound of a car in the drive, she fills the wine glass before he comes in, she doesn’t want him to have one. She is angry.

I’m home he says, she hears his voice in the hall, he has no idea that she knows, or what is ahead of him. He drops the keys on the counter, I’ll open another one he says with a smile, he needs a friend, he is looking at the bottle, it’s empty, why the silence he says, he is full of himself, a great day at the office and two weeks off as a result. I know she says, what, they have told you already, that’s quick. He fetches a glass sits down beside her, why the gloom he says, she is prone to depression, he doesn’t rile her, she gets over it within an hour, she has been that way, since she lost the baby.

It’s only your imagination he says, when she confronts him, he understands, she has not been feeling well these last few months, it’s easy to understand. Compassion, he is a patient man.
