Finding Redemption

She sits at their kitchen table, has been speaking with their friends, her lawyer too, she has caught him cheating, she is waiting for him to come in the door, their santuary has melted before her eyes, the cocoon they built, was it all lies, I trusted him with my happiness, and now it’s all about to disintegrate. Her life is over, she is barely forty. The time I invested in him, worse, the other men she gave up for him, the career she set aside, maybe that is an excuse, another reason to hate him, we all strecth the truth, sanctimonious, who isn’t. How she liked fixing their meals, the list gets bigger. So many things she overlooked, the stuff she put up with, inside she tells herself she is perfect, well, he was the one who thrashed the relationship. There is the sound of a car in the drive, she fills the wine glass before he comes in, she doesn’t want him to have one. She is angry.

I’m home he says, she hears his voice in the hall, he has no idea that she knows, or what is ahead of him. He drops the keys on the counter, I’ll open another one he says with a smile, he needs a friend, he is looking at the bottle, it’s empty, why the silence he says, he is full of himself, a great day at the office and two weeks off as a result. I know she says, what, they have told you already, that’s quick. He fetches a glass sits down beside her, why the gloom he says, she is prone to depression, he doesn’t rile her, she gets over it within an hour, she has been that way, since she lost the baby.

It’s only your imagination he says, when she confronts him, he understands, she has not been feeling well these last few months, it’s easy to understand. Compassion, he is a patient man.

Love 1907 Style — The Müscleheaded Blog

Quote

Hey gang! I found a very appealing and fascinating set of postcards from 1907 , featuring newlyweds off on their first adventure together : – their honeymoon. These cards were published by the Julius Bien & Co. Lithographic firm, which was in business between 1850-1915 in New York City. Bien himself was originally an immigrant […]

The Passing

It was coming, the soul had a few clouds around it, there were things that needed to be said, permission to move on, before the body says goodbye, the great cruise ship of eternity waiting. Solomon was telling the Great God, he was greater than even the words of old, the wonders of the light, the messengers he met along the way, the thousands of angels that waited, prepared and armed, it was time to let go. Like a child about to go on a great journey, a mother about to give birth, the pain and the excitement, both have to let go, then the Spirit is set free. She pushes, there is sweat all over her, why do you make it so difficult, the angel is in the corner, she is in for a great surprise, go on  girl, it’s going to be all right. The crown appears, the nurse squeezes her hand, it’s going to be a minute even less, the rest of the body emerges, she has finally given birth. The dot that is invisible, that is only visible under a microscope, carries the history or habits of generations, that invisible dot, would you believe it, I hope you realize this is not made up.

The soul, the friend enters, well a friend always makes you feel good about yourself, even when your up and down, those who are not so friendly leave you with a frown, anxious, and happier when they are gone. It’s going to be fine Solomon says, no moaning or temp feelings, this is permanent, yes, there are those who alert us to all the is harmful, that is because they pass on their own fears, the old soul smiles, he believes it, he knows.

The scales of Justice, what has been the impact of your life, did you reap a harvest of Spiritual love, did you bear good fruit, were you a tricky sort, trying to get the best out it, without given anything back, did you raise your nose as you chided others with your judging, as those in your prayer group said, they are not like us, or did you do what Jesus recommended and reached out. The old soul, a good Samaritan, his life moves on, a gift to another, when the Spirit will get even stronger, amen. Grief, well, if you upset the most high, you have plenty to be anxious about, and grieve I would, but if you bring the light with you, what have you to worry about. Solomon sighed, He will always be my friend.  The last moments they shared, a real good smile.

He’s just like Grand dad, they group around the new born, amazing, tears in their eyes, amen.

Migrant Mary

The tent leaks, it’s cold, but there is a TV, she is watching CNN, the debate is very personal, they are talking about the “Wall”, the door is closed to her and many like her, Dear God she says, is this always going to be their way. For cash they will allow the “dreamers” stay on, what sort of thinking is that, to build a wall, everyone knows you can cross any border these days. Mary is not your ordinary migrant, well, no migrant is ordinary, they take extraordinary chances to create a life, and they do. Miguel comes into the tent, her seven year old son, what are you looking at Mam, they are discussing us she says, his eyes light up, you mean we are going to be famous, he gets excited inside, everyone wants to be famous these days, including, seven year old Miguel.

The diseases have eased since the red cross doctors arrived, but the food is staple, porridge with lots of vitamin, meanwhile, the leaders of Davos, sit down to an eight course meal. There is a flash from the cameras, looks delish says Miguel, he is fed up with the bland food, and used to doing without. What are they discussing he says, he’s a smart child, can ask the right question at the right time, will make a good job when he grows up, if allowed, the other options don’t augur well, he is smart, and that is not something to be wasted. You don’t want him becoming a terrorist.

A teacher in her homeland, a number now, counted with millions of others on the move across the globe, when your without and you don’t have an address, there are few who take you seriously.

Solomon sighed, when will they apply the wisdom and teaching of old, all those old gitters are going to face the eternal judge, for real, they will all have to account for themselves, with all their educations and those expensive schools, you’d have thought they might have learned, have they not seen the signs in the Sky, should have gone to the opticians sooner I suppose. A war was raging, the old time nationalists wanted to turn back time, problem was mother nature was weaker, and they were all being used by the new world extremists. At least after all the troubles of the past, the younger set were not going to fall for that, as for Migrant Mary, the tent leaks, the air is cooler, but Miguel still dreams of being famous.

Davos and Divorce….

Is either good for us, at least a divorce can help you get out of an abusive relationship, even if the lawyers are the only ones left satisfied, the big smile, what can I do for you, ah, you’ve split up, lets see how we can divide the assets, I hope you have a good accountant too, Davos is a bit like the lawyer part, every year they discuss the well being of the world, the financial well being, no wonder they don’t invite Spiritual leaders, maybe next year, when they come to terms with divine intervention, the stuff they can’t control, and need help with, enough said about Davos. If money can be printed, it can’t be that bad, it’s just a case of who is printing the money, well, when you get into debt that is astronomical, no one is ever going to challenge you, unless you have not too much, then it’s safe to challenge you, the market won’ get upset, even Tigers need a balanced diet.

The oceans, acidic, the environment for children growing up, toxic, so many worthy topics, none of them financial, yet Davos persists, the welfare of the world, not ignoring the billion of so souls living with a disability as the journalist in the paper said, (don’t take credit for the efforts of others, it does not go down well in high places) well, does anything come as close as the welfare of our living environments.

Solomon was looking at the poster, he was in the old church, an Indian Prophesy, what happens when there is no space left to exploit, where do you stop, back track, and all the Davos community can talk about, the financial system, same as spoiled children with too many toys, immune from outside influence, until they have to live in it. Perhaps it’s old prophesy repeating itself, well, at least we have precedent to help us, and remind us too, Goliath, didn’t get the victory expected, the story of our times.

The thousands of fine lives stolen in their prime, cause they said stop, Solomon sighed, as the words came to him, he knew he was getting the help from above, and that was beyond understanding, In Davos, and many other places, amen. The men in Davos, seemed to be touting nationalism, in affect, seeking an effort to rehash the harm many of them already caused for opportunity purposes, well, if your busy as they say, ……

Lifting the lid….

Have you ever realized as to the number of people who don’t wash their hands after doing their thingee, and the rise in infectious diseases as a result of it, just saying, It’s a bit of a stink, imagine the child in care, dependent on the adults who are not family, insecure, well, it’s why he is in care anyway, a what does it matter, if he overdosed Friday he”s forgotten an hour later, that’s a bit of a stretch I know, just bouncing ideas off the lid, gosh did another drop hit the seat, no one will notice anyway, did I wash my hands, who’ll notice, aha, so the world is a dirty place, no wonder the native tribes suffered when the white man arrived, all those diseases they brought with them.

Solomon was reading the story of the sentinel Islands, where an adventurer tried to engage with the native people, protected from such intrusions, by law, to cut to the chase, they fire down arrows on him and he’s killed, god bless him. This group of natives are kept isolated from mankind, because of the risk of disease the white man carries, and this is the 21st century.

Monday night, the news, the expose about those prisoners in their own homes, bullied and terrified, women who are slaves, children not allowed to have opinions, any form of Spirit, damned from the outset, cause it is against the rules.  The same goes on in front of your eyes, and it’s the story of many who covet control through religious means. Solomon saw the Spirit destroyed on countless occasions, and while it was a gift to observe such destruction, he imagined why it was not difficult to work out, that to gain Spirit you had to have some in the first place, just as the ancient words said.

The unspoken is said, there is a sigh of relief, it had to happen, amen.

Seventeen years Later.. 9/11

Millions dead later, so many lives destroyed, war when there could have been peace, chaos in many places, and lots of reasons to forgive, and seek it, children online, guidance an issue, all parties, devotees of Jesus, he is mentioned regularly in the Qu’ran too, and forgiveness was his message, don’t return violence for violence, don’t fear what can kill the body, only that which can kill the Spirit, have we learned. A time to reflect, time to put aside national pride, what does it matter when your gone.

Solomon was reflecting, he had many words he could use, but he wanted to keep it short, it would be easy get emotional, it would be easy to rise the anger of many, it is so easy to increase the hurt, why would you, there are plenty already doing that. A new era in terms of world change, many reasons to believe, this life is not the end, and bringing anger with you, was going to solve nothing. Love, the answer to every prayer, amen. Fifty million dead, after the second great war, so many killed there, one day if this keeps up, there would be nothing to count at all, and no one to count either.
