Priorities

A warehouse full of unused munitions, no war on the Horizon, what are we going to do with all this stuff. The General looks at the huge collection of weapons, what do they cost, commissions, he had a few contacts, today he is not so sure. There are signs of Heavenly interventions; attempts to build division between nations, have all collapsed, he wonders what will be the cost; he calls himself a believer, many of his friends too.

The board meeting is about the unused resources, the stock is piling up. Any suggestions says the newest member of the board; a war would be useful states a voice, there is a chuckle in the room, a side comment is heard, not that again says the CEO, you didn’t complain when we deposited $20 million in your off shore account. Me says the voice.

If Country A falls out with Country B, then C will get involved, meanwhile we can get that movement going, which will increase tensions, and with that other nut job, it’s only a matter of time, before it all blows up, problem solved. Great Strategy Chief, all the heads nod. So we need to start a war to get the show moving; Is all in agreement then. They all nod again. Who do we have in foreign policy asks another. Another voice sounds; This is like a Grisham thriller, the CEO laughs, you think this is Grisham, dam peace maker.

Solomon wondered, didn’t they all know, that all the background thinking was food for the Spirit. So they met in secret places, so they tried to bribe all, so they owned governments, they were all on the radar, amen, at a time when the Heavenly Spirit was trawling the world. Solomon wanted to send them the Spirit, a story would do instead, you have to have priorities.

Isiah The Great Prophet…

Isaiah the Prophet

Who was this prophet, who was he, Solomon was wondering what was known about Isaiah, apart from the power of his prayers, they got heard too, amen. What would Isaiah pray if he wanted the demon thrown into the abyss, what would he pray, how would he put chains on the demon. If he had lived in the time of Jesus, well he did, in that his words are still alive to this day in time, but how would he “frame” his request. He’d find a place where there was peace and nature side by side supposed Solomon, sit on it and think it through probably, the way Solomon often did, being in nature, you are in the borderless world, no one can claim the skies, no one can lay claim to the clouds either, or the oceans. Solomon had time to spend and he wasn’t going to waste a moment, and it was wise to add to his growing collection of petitions, there were those too weary to pray, and how many others voiceless, he was the Spiritual vacuum filler, ask wisdom, ask the others gone up, to help with the suggestion, as it had to be divine.

Solomon’s request….

Dear Isaiah, old friend, you have been to heaven, my request is a simple one, a good prayer is called for, the demons are on the run and they need to be finished off, amen. I need your advice, the religious fraternity are as always, stubborn to the point of stupidity, nothing new in that dear friend, and in the face of divine intervention too, so I can’t expect them to be helpful, and I have the news that many need to hear also, which they are supposed to be making clear to others of all faiths, of God Most High’s great providence and mercy, so, in a nutshell, apart from thanking our Great God, I have need for a new prayer. Amen.

That ought to work wondered Solomon, would certainly get heard, being made for all the right reasons.

Words made it happen, and it was a tablet he was using, the modern version, the electronic news board, where all could see, especially those in his circle of trust.

Our World

We are the tenants in this world, the means for gathering we have been given, in our race to success, we tampered with the mixture, added chemicals to hurry the growth, we hurried to progress without thought of consequence, left our mistakes to the next generation, not that we planned it, we just hoped. Addiction to the material brought us to the brink, there is a limit, but when there is no water to drink, as they say, the options become limited, and in our efforts to distract others from our faults, we started wars to rally support for our schemes. If this sounds like an apology, I sure hope this is what you assume, how can we plead for mercy if we are not contrite and real. There are many flowers in the garden, multi colored, all races, all different sizes of fields, the reality of the words of Jesus, we are called to be Samaritans not judges, as some try to believe. There are no favorites, everyone is treated the same, we are compassion, we are love, we are charitable, if we truly believe. We are the tenants in that old parable, this you must believe.

Solomon was listening to the words of a far off preacher, a man of Godly esteem was having a final goodbye, he saw the crowd, many of them celebrities, and these are the thoughts he had. As Ezra says; when the day comes and you must face the judgement, you will only have your deeds and what comes out of your mouth to defend you, amen.

Money Makers ….

Hear the saying, money makers never tire, they have boundless energy, all addicts do. Till the money runs out, or the drug runs dry, then it’s bedlam. Solomon was thinking of some nasty folks, who undermine the well being of all for a few bucks. How foolish he sighed, when there are signs of Godly intervention all around, how they shrivel inside knowing that Love, real love, is the only currency of interest to God. There are limits on what we need, there are limits on desire, sad for those with egos bigger than Mount Everest, what is in store for them, Only God Knows. 24 trillion off shore and mounting, they say all volcanoes burst, same as the waistline after too many feasts, amen.

Ponder This..

Our voices, stolen, those in the limelight, selling their wares, offering voices, but stealing from us all the time. Solomon reflected, the great unfairness, how those with power, given Godly talents, used them to build stores for themselves, amen.

My makeup does not look good, the nails need to be done, does this sound good, what will the others think. To Solomon, the impressions  we hope to create,

in the hope that our peers will salute us, was nothing compared to the Power of God, and the divine plan. If they are suffocating from their material excess’s, they will one day have to leave it all behind, and then, it’s their soul that will matter and nothing else, so what will your legacy be, amen?

Envy

I want to be different, there is no one like me, there is nothing I can’t do, I have the money and I can choose, I want people to look and stare, I want them to understand, I can afford this, I want them to stare, that is a real rolex on my wrist, Envy, Yeah, I want you to drool at the excess.

A world that prides itself on the creation of Idols, does it not remind you, encouraging others to worship the material, with no sense of the Spirit, or the Spiritual needs. King Solomon, the prophets, and the warnings of Jesus; don’t encourage people to envy you, unless it’s your Faith in the Most High that you want to encourage in them. The papers, the boasts, the old men and their trophy wives, the medication they hide behind, the doctors injections that keep them alive, while all the time parading to the world, their so called acumen; well, if you work like me you can have this, all of it, was it not like the temptations that Jesus had to under go; choose life He said, Eternal Life, the material can’t come with you, so what is it that you envy. Who do you want to serve; your pride or God, amen.

The Throne Room

He shows his guests around the fabulous drawing room, it’s filled with art works that you usually see in museums, he purrs as he explains; well I bought the Michelangelo when I made the deal for the..I bought the Van Goff a year later, the guests edge closer to the paintings, they want to get the smell, it’s overpowering to be surrounded by such power, well, the art pieces are not worth fifty or a hundred million, even if there are those who will pay the price, it’s the feeling of supreme authority, the fever of power, it’s so stimulating. In the company of such a power filled human being, it’s intoxication, and Mr Power knows this too well, and now that he is getting older, showing off to his friends is one of his hobbies. Did you see the way they react he says later that night, when all alone with his butler, his wife left him for the golf instructor a few years before.

While they gurgle with excitement, each of them wanting a private audience, this man can change lives, all they want to do it is imitate him. Change lives, change my life it seems, their mantra. Imagine, the lives we imitate in the pursuit of happiness. Solomon sighed, a happy breakfast; in the company of friends, food cooked with care, and no shortage of refills when the coffee is near the end. Solomon made tough decisions in his time, but there was one decision he had no choice over, the night the Great Spirit arrived, proof of divine help, the ultimate award. The riches of this world will be coveted by others, but the riches of Heaven, will be,

a love that is shared. Old Mean bag and his trophies, would leave a legacy of resentment, nothing more, as sure as sure is, when he moves on, those left behind, will gladly spill blood in order to get their hands on those trophies.
