unconditional love

Marriage vows, will we stay together, will you love me when I get old, questions you never ask yourself, what is unconditional love, love supreme, love eternal. How often do we remark, an elderly couple, holding hands, or an old man holding the  door while he waits for his ageing partner who struggles to walk, the tenderness in the eye, the waiting, the heart that sighs, I will wait for you dear. no fears.

Solomon was recalling a marriage that had met deep trouble, and the debris around it, the vows not lasting, the love skin deep. He wondered if they recall the life of Jesus; only love was good enough. Lets hope the ego learns, amen
