Scheming politician, wants to get to the top, demon, knows he can use him, knows how to arrange the job, fills him with pride, gives him ideas that are not his, fills him with ego, even helps him to get high, spots the power people in the arena, those in society that have influence and are listened to. Over eager church leader, wants to spread the news, is willing to use any means, uses the excuse of ancient wars, they died then so what about a little deceit now. Power Man of God, of real spirit, entertains all who believe, does not restrict himself to those of a particular faith, is the good Samaritan. Church leader complains, it’s a dinner party, the election is in the near future, anything i can help you with asks the politician, he intends to be in power for his entire life, know he needs the support of the Church Leader if he is to achieve it, the people are afraid of this man, he has spies in every neighborhood, do him a favour and he’ll repay you well, it’s one of his charms.
“We can’t allow him anymore success, he supports the others” The others are good believers, they just have a few differences when they are dictated to and when power is visibly abused, they are true followers of the words of Jesus, Samaritans.
Plans are made to undermine, the flow of the Holy Spirit is interfered with, the politician gets his way, the church leader gets his victim, dominance is the way forward, they have absolute power, amen.
Many years later, the politician and the church leader are on the floor, their power taken away, while the Spirit of the good Samaritan rises to the top again, fools are those who think they can usurp the power of God. Solomon was recalling real time events, and how the Great God levels the playing field. He noticed lately, how those of so called good standing had tried to plant insecurity into his life, when they should have been doing the opposite. There is a God of Heaven and Earth, something he could remind them of, with a few simple words, amen. Don’t covet power but seek wisdom instead, amen.
