We’ve been doing it this way, he stares at the near empty theater, is wasn’t always like this, do you remember the glory days, yeah he smiles, looking up, those were the times, what happened asked his friend, he shrugs, he has the answer but does  not want to respond, complacency greed and ego if you please, taking for granted what was a gift after all. We were the masters, everyone wanted to know us, who got in the door, they had to thank us, yeah, ..he sighs, what did we throw away.  His friend pats him on the back, there will be good times again, next time when we find that

Spirit again, we’ll mind it.

Solomon was remarking on how life and our mistakes was peppered all over the place, the warnings, events where other things go wrong, did we learn anything, what would we do if we got the chance to do it all again, be a bit wiser i suppose. The empty heart was no different to that empty hall, the empty church, the unheard needs of the poor. God laid down so many examples it was almost blinding. He surmised, if there is a need for change it will appear in so many places, it did, and that’s coming from above, amen.
